The market for foldable smartphones has expanded with the entry of Huawei, a Chinese business. The Huawei Pocket 2, the company's second iteration of its clamshell foldable smartphone, is now available, around two years after the P50 Pocket made its debut.
The 6.94-inch foldable OLED inner screen of the Huawei Pocket 2 has an LTPO adaptive refresh rate capability of 1-120 Hz. The screen's maximum brightness is 2200 nits.
You could be curious about the hinge, just as with any foldable. The Huawei Pocket 2 has a waterdrop hinge, which allows for a gap-free, smooth fold. The phone can fold entirely flat thanks to its hinge design, which also reduces the amount of the screen wrinkle that is visible. Huawei states that the screen maintains its smoothness and flatness even after extended use.
A tiny 1.15-inch circular display with a dual-circle symmetric pattern is located adjacent to the camera island on the cover screen. Four hues are offered for the device: Elegant Black, Rococo White, Taro Purple, and Tahitian Grey.

The Huawei Pocket 2 is unique in that it is the first flip phone with four cameras on the outside. Although Huawei no longer releases information on its chipsets, it is thought that the Huawei Pocket 2—like the Huawei Mate 60 Pro—is powered by the Kirin 9000S. It has 12 GB of RAM and choices for 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of storage when it comes to RAM and storage.
With its large 4520mAh battery, the clamshell foldable supports 40W wireless charging for the first time. The 66W rating applies to wired charging. In contrast, the 3,700mAh battery of Samsung's most recent clamshell foldable, the Galaxy Z Flip 5, only supports 10W wireless charging.

Huawei has some challenging pricing and availability issues. The starting pricing of the Pocket 2 is CNY 7,499, or around $1,040 for the 256GB model. The Huawei Pocket 2 is priced similarly to its primary rivals, the Oppo Find N3 Flip and the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
The Huawei Pocket 2 may have difficulties competing with other foldable devices because of its restricted worldwide availability, even with features like satellite internet, an amazing camera system (at least on paper), and a sizable battery.
