Maybe it's time to give up on brushed titanium.

It won't be long until the new iPhone becomes the talk of the internet. The speculations are rampant despite the fact that we won't likely see the new model until September.

According to the most recent iPhone 16 Pro rumor, Apple plans to improve the titanium on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max so that it looks far better than the iPhone 15 Pro. Apple may choose to go with a glossier, smoother coating for these upcoming phones in instead of its brushed one, giving them a more polished appearance. As a result, the iPhone 16 Pro models will resemble older stainless steel gadgets more, but with titanium's increased toughness and scratch resistance.

According to leaker yeux1122's blog post, "the iPhone 16 Pro models are said to have a method with improved titanium processing and color processing, unlike the 15 Pro models." According to the source, the phone will have a more polished finish and may even be more scratch-resistant, which would indicate that it would have a functional boost in addition to a cosmetic one.

The fact that yeux1122 did not mention a specific source should be noted, hence this rumor should be regarded very seriously. To further enhance the overall appearance and feel of the high-end phone, it would make sense for Apple to provide some upgrades to the titanium's polish. However, it is still unclear if the business will be able to implement it for the phone released in 2024 or if it will only be available on later versions

However, it's also feasible that the modifications have little to do with the titanium's appearance and everything to do with the productivity of the production line. Since the leaker has a patchy history, we'll have to wait and see what Apple makes known in the autumn.

We've heard a lot of buzz thus far regarding the iPhone 16 and possible future releases for the next generation of gadgets. For instance, there is a rumor that refutes this one and claims that the iPhone 16 series won't be seeing any significant external modifications. More rumors claim that bigger Pro models will be available in 2024, but again, we'll have to wait for official confirmation until things come closer to release.
