The Google Pixel 9 Pro XL has the sound of a well-known phone with a strange moniker. Google may soon switch to a dual Pro lineup, with the XL serving as the continuation of past Pros and the new, non-XL model offering identical capabilities in a smaller chassis. This is after a few years of having one ordinary and one Pro Pixel each year.

GOOGLE PIXEL 9 PRO XL: RUMORED RELEASE DATE AND PRICE
It appears like Google will formally unveil the next flagship Pixel phone on August 13 at an event in Mountain View, since the company has already officially sent out invitations to the event. The fact that the event has been pushed forward from its customary October time frame is what makes this situation so intriguing. Regarding pricing, Google may launch its first Pro XL variant for $999, just like the Pixel 8 Pro. However, Google may raise the price to allow the smaller Pixel 9 Pro more leeway, all the while undercutting competitors from Apple and Samsung, whose starting prices typically start at $1,200.
In any case, the Pixel 9 Pro XL is expected to start at €1,199, which is €100 higher than the speculated price of the Pixel 9 Pro, according to a rumor alerting users to price increases for certain Pixel 9 versions based on the phone's possible pricing in Europe. That would appear to indicate that a price in the United States above $1,000 is probably reasonable.
GOOGLE PIXEL 9 PRO XL: DESIGN AND DISPLAY

In addition, a hands-on video that surfaced online gives you a look of a phone that could be the Pixel 9 Pro XL.
All Pixel 9 phones, including the XL model, are expected to feature ultrasonic fingerprint sensors rather than the optical ones seen in the Pixel 8 due to a probable redesign to the Pixel portfolio. Ultrasonic sensors are typically more dependable than optical sensors when it comes to fingerprint recognition.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL is expected to be available in the same color options as the Pixel 9 Pro, which include black, white, pink, and green.
