Garmin Fenix 8 Leaks Reveal New Mystery Model

It usually happens that the top smartwatch models are released around late summer or early autumn. The upgraded Google Pixel Watch 3 was just made public, and I recently finished up my assessment of the similarly amazing Samsung Galaxy Watch 7. Apple, Garmin, and other companies, however, have not yet unveiled their most recent products.

Early pictures of the next gadgets have surfaced, and they were released by the German tech website WinFuture. The release of Garmin's newest versions is probably just a few weeks away. These images offer our first look at the high-end Garmin Enduro 3, a new model that could be a more affordable version of the Fenix 8, and what very well might be the Garmin Fenix 8 sports watch. What you should know is as follows.

Garmin Fenix 8

One of the most eagerly awaited tough, adventure-ready wristwatch models of 2024 is the Garmin Fenix 8. It is a direct rival to the new Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Apple Watch Ultra 2, and all indications suggest that the biggest upgrade is an AMOLED screen. Nevertheless, a lot is still unclear.

The MiP (memory in pixel) screens seen on all previous Garmin Fenix models are comparatively less spectacular; they utilize less battery life but are also more difficult to see in direct sunlight. In contrast, AMOLED panels often have higher brightness, quicker refresh rates, a greater color gamut, and superior saturation.

Among other things, the Fenix 8 could have more storage than its predecessors in order to accommodate offline maps.

In addition, the photos show a brand-new gadget that joins the Enduro 3 and Garmin Fenix 8 (which I'll talk about later). Industry insiders predict that this new model, which lacks the updated AMOLED screen but still has all the current capabilities of the Fenix 8, will be a more affordable option.

It would be fascinating to watch if this more affordable Fenix 8 model, maybe dubbed the Fenix E, will launch for less than the $649 starting price of the Fenix 7 model. Pricing information is still elusive, however rumors state that it will only be available in 47mm and with a MiPs screen.

Garmin Enduro 3

The third and last gadget seen in the newly released leaked Garmin product images seems to be the brand's most expensive wrist-based offering, the next-generation Garmin Enduro. Similar to the other upcoming models, there aren't many specifics. Having said that, I will add to this post when new information becomes available.

In addition, my coworkers and I will be providing coverage of all the most recent Garmin wearable launches as soon as they go on, including initial impressions, comprehensive comparisons between each model's main rivals, and information on pricing and availability.
